Auckland Youth Orchestra is the premier New Zealand regional youth orchestra, with students and graduates from 13 to 26 years old that rehearse weekly on Wednesday evenings during the term, to perform 3 programmes of symphonic works (overtures, concertos, symphonies) and up to 12 performances annually. We have toured the North and South islands, as well as internationally including Australia, USA, and most recently in Europe at Berlin's Konzerthaus as part of Euro Young Classics invited network of top youth orchestras in the world.  This year, we have 75 members in AYO.
